After a four year tour in the Navy and several years as a retail manager, he gave it all up to pursue his dream of becoming a professional radio DJ. During his radio career, he covered shifts from overnight to morning drive and held managerial positions from music director, program director to operations manager. He moved his way up the dial in Charlotte from 96.1 to 96.9 to 99.7 to 104.7. He has made music a huge part of his life .
